Hello. You may know me as Lyssata on club penguin, but now I have discovered a new website called Whyville. Whyville is a virtual world where you can travel to different places, talk to numerous people, and learn valuable information.  Whyville is based in Pasadena,California. It has over 2 million members. Whyville has many education programs that take place in a theater called The Greek Theater. These programs are based on different things. 

     Whyville also has a program were you earn a salary of clams each day. Your salary increases by playing games or participating in different programs. One program to earn a salary is to take part in a program called Why Eat. This teaches you to eat right and exercise daily.  There are also games such as skater game, spin game, treasure hunt, and house of illusions.

   Whyville is like real life too because it has a bank,cars, and a money system. Whyville coins are called clams. Whyville has a store called Akbar’s Face Mall. At Akbar’s you may buy clothes, makeup, jewelry, and much more ,or you can save up your clams at Whyville’s bank, Bankinter. Whyville sells Scion cars. If you don’t have enough clams you can apply for a loan.

   My first experience on Whyville was fun. After I signed up the website took me to a homepage there I clicked a link called Chat License Test. When you click that it gives you a 12 question quiz. If you past the quiz you will be able to chat with other whyvillians. The test also gives you 50 clams free. The bus will take you any where you choose in Whyville.
